After a certain amount of time, it might be a few hours or days, then the Internet appears to stop working.  The PC is still connected, Outlook and other Internet tools might keep working, but Internet access just hangs.

The general suspicion is that this is a DNS problem.  Appears to happen on Winsow 8.1 and 10. Possible solutions to "try and resolve" include:

• Switching off and second network adaptors such as Wifi
• Runing in an elevated command window "netsh winsock reset" and then reboot
